Yusuf Iqbal Yusuf is the son of Late Mr. Iqbal Muhammad Yusuf and is widely known in the legal fraternity. Yusuf was one of the youngest Advocates to be inducted as a lawyer of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. He is a well-respected and revered member of the International Council of Jurists, United Kingdom. Yusuf specialises in white collar crimes, penal laws and general corporate commercial disputes.
He has garnered an unmatched skill in dealing with matters pertaining to fraud, corruption, cartel matters, financial compliance, money laundering, asset seizure and confiscation cases. He also advises on matters relating to mutual legal assistance, extradition and represents individuals in public inquiries and inquests. He has personally appeared in several eminent cases and several matters wherein he has appeared have been reported in law journals. He has been instrumental in assisting the Supreme Court and various state High Courts in laying down the law of the land and in interpreting the finer points of law. He is also involved in various social activities. It is on account of his guidance that the firm today boasts of as high as 25% pro bono work.
